Population Data BC Summer 2009 Workshops

Population Data BC is committed to providing education and training to meet the needs of BC researchers. Summer workshops in Health Geomatics are now open for registration. Space is limited and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Space-Time Disease Surveillance (August 24 - 25)
  • Health and GIS 101 (September 30)

Statistics Canada 2009-10 Workshop Series

Statistics Canada offers a wide range of professional workshops to help both first-time and experienced researchers learn how to conduct high quality research. Upcoming courses include:

 

  • Surveys from Start to Finish  (October 20-22, 2009 in Kelowna)
  • Turning Statistics Into Stories (January 12, 2010 in Vancouver and March 9, 2010 in Victoria)
  • Understanding and Interpreting Data (November 24-25, 2009 in Whitehorse and December 15-16, 2009 in Vancouver).
